Does anyone have experiance with "Insignia" MP3 players?

I'm in the market for a new MP3 player and Ebay is selling a logo 2GB player very cheap. I went and read 4 eponions.com really negative comments basically stated Insignia brand sucks. Does anyone have this brand? Can you share your thoughts, opinions? Thanks – VL

Insignia is basically Best Buy "house brand", and is only available through retailers Best Buy (or 2nd hand, such as eBay). It is common practice for large retailers to establish a separate brand name that is unique your store so that they can without affecting sales to other goods or face Matchers prices. CompUSA has its "Norwood Micro" line of products, a similar tone. In my humble opinion, Insiginia things is neither better nor worse than others, but are considered 2nd rate mainly due to the lack of brand name recognition, and lack of support, except for Best Buy. As to your question about your MP3 player … Those are cheap nowadays, and when it comes out you'll probably want a again with more memory and more features in any way. If the price is right, and you can not find anything similar, then go for it. If there are other brands in the same price range, then I collect other things, even a few dollars more.
