Format Archos Av500

Syncing Archos AV500 with windows media player. HELP!?
I havn’t had this problem before but I am trying to add music to my archos av500 and my media player isn’t finding device. and when I try to do drag and drop method it tells me i need to format and I will lose everything. Does that mean I will lose my movies? Please help Im going on a trip tomorrow and I want updated music but not lose my movies
I ahd to download some extra drivers to my computer when I tried to do it with my archos 504, but I think that was because the laptop was windows vista. You might want to go to the website and redownload them just in case.
