Buy Archos 5 Dvr Station

Do you need a Cable box to record television on the Archos DVR station?
I was considering buying an Archos 5 60GB and I wanted to know if the DVR station needs a cable box or can you just plug it into the wall. My house just has a cable going through the house and I didn’t see any plug ins for just a regular cable signal.
you will most likely need a tuner. i just purchased the
Tristar MX DVR Home Theater Digital Video Recorder PVR
which is allot like the dvr you are talking about, but it does a bit more. i have to connect it to my tuner in order to see tv channels, but for watching movies, listening to music, or accessing all my picture then i dont need a tuner for that.
