Archos 5 vs archos 5 android?
hey y’all , i currently own an archos 5 120GB , but i’m thinking about getting the new archos 5 internet tablet that runs android 500GB, i’m just wondering what’s the big difference between this two seemingly same device (beside the os)? does the android one runs flash applications and reads .PDF files as good as the previous version (the one without android) ? what’s the price tag of the Archos 5 android 500GB? do i miss anything with the new archos5? is this even reasonable to trade my regular archos 5 for a android based one? thanks for helping
The ARCHOS 5 internet tablet runs Android as the operating system. With that comes the ability to run applications from Archos’ apps marketplace. It runs flash lite, and can read .pdfs. Right now the 500GB runs $500 bucks. The new one also has built-in GPS, the licenses cost $40. Have you used up the storage on your 120GB? You may just want to go for the 8GB, its very slim and about half the cost.
